Practical Information
Château du Gibanel is open from May 24, 2026 to September 27, 2026 and from May 15 to September 5, 2027.
In September, we switch to back-to-basics mode at Gibanel:
- no restaurant but picnics with a view
- no grocery store but great spots to try in Argentat-sur-Dordogne
- no entertainment but nature, board games, and ping-pong tables on the agenda
- a pool always open, but unheated

Hours
Check-in time: From 4 PM. Check-out time: By 10 AM.
Pitches: Check-in from 2 PM and check-out by 12 PM.
Pitches: Arrival from 2 p.m. and departure until 12 p.m.
Booking office: Open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Reception opening hours:
- Peak season (July-August 2026): Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday: 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 7pm. / Wednesday and Saturday: 9am to 7pm.
- In September: Wednesday to Sunday from 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 5pm. Closed Monday and Tuesday (self-check-in on these days).
Aquatic area: Open from June 1, 2026:

Pets
We accept pets under the following conditions:
1 pet per accommodation. Excluding categories 1 and 2. Maximum weight of 20 kg. The supplement for your pet is €7 per day.
Pets must be kept on a leash within the campsite, not left alone in the accommodation, and must have up-to-date vaccination records.
How to get to the campsite
By car
To get to Camping le Gibanel by car, take the A20/A89 highways to Brive or Tulle, then follow the D1120.
By train
Two train stations serve the campsite: Tulle station, 30 kilometers away, or Brive station, 50 kilometers away.
By plane
The nearest airports are in Limoges and Toulouse, or you can also reach Brive's aerodrome, 62 kilometers away.

Good to know
Although WiFi is not available throughout the site, it is accessible at the Reception and the Bar. The network of some operators works within our facility. A great way to disconnect and fully recharge!
